Mission Pilot – Float Plane, PNG
Come serve with the biggest little airline in the world.
MAF International (Mission Aviation Fellowship) is a global organisation using light aircraft to deliver help, hope and healing in Jesus’ name in over 30 developing countries. For more than 75 years, MAF has been transporting patients, relief workers, produce and medical supplies to the world’s remotest regions and places of deepest human need – places where flying is not a luxury but a lifeline.
We operate in Papua New Guinea, which is one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world. Only 18 percent of its population live in urban centres. The majority live in very remote areas with little or no transportation options. MAF PNG is one of our biggest programmes where we support local infrastructure and logistics surrounding missions. From life-saving medical evacuations to transporting essential supplies, MAF transforms the lives of the people of this country physically and spiritually.
We are seeking expressions of interest for a float plane pilot to serve in the Western Province of PNG. In this role, you will fly in some of the most remote places and in challenging conditions while providing a professional aviation service to customers. You will have an extensive set of skills to conduct mission flights in accordance with MAF procedures. You will be at the sharp end of transformation which will see you working with our partners to reach isolated communities.
Our Vision: To see isolated people changed by the love of Christ.
Our Mission: Serving together to bring help, hope and healing through aviation.
