The Story

Andrew and Karen have always enjoyed God’s creation, exploring nature through adventure camping in a variety of out of the way places within Australia. They never expected, however, that God would call them to leave their home in Melbourne to live and serve Him in beautiful outback Arnhem Land.

During 2020-2021, God was at work to bring many changes in Andrew and Karen’s lives. He used this time to lead them in a new direction, strengthening Andrew’s desire to use the skills and experiences gained in the building industry to further God’s Kingdom. Andrew’s role as Facilities Manager is to look after the buildings and vehicles used by MAF in Arnhem Land.

Both Andrew and Karen have a heart to serve God, to humbly share in His work and create mutually beneficial relationships through supporting the needs of the MAF team and broader Arnhem Land community. They are excited to see how God will work in and through them as they continue to follow His calling.
