Virtual Reality Activity

Virtual Reality is an immersive experience and can affect everyone differently. 

Please read the following disclaimer before using the VR headset and and indicate your agreement with the contents by submitting the form below.  

Statement: People who are prone to motion sickness have a risk of experiencing discomfort when using Virtual Reality. 

  • I am voluntarily participating in a VR experience or activity and agree that I am participating in the experience or activity entirely at my own risk. 
  • I am aware of the risks associated with participating in this activity, which may include, but are not limited to, motion sickness, eye strain or other visual abnormalities, impaired hand eye coordination, physical/psychological discomfort. 
  • I understand that these injuries or outcomes may arise from my own or others’ negligence, or the condition of the experience or activity location(s). Nonetheless, I assume all related risks, both known and unknown to me, of my participation in this experience or activity. 

VR Headsets and their associated equipment are not toys and must be used in compliance with the manufacturer’s guidelines. 

By agreeing to this disclaimer, I agree to release MAF Australia and its representatives from any liability regarding my (or my children’s/students/dependents/minor’s) use of the Oculus Go headsets and/or any of our VR equipment. 

Oculus VR and MAF Australia, does NOT recommend that children under the age of thirteen (13) use the Virtual Reality headsets. 

The use of VR for children under the age of thirteen (13) is the responsibility of the parent/carer.
