Virtual Reality Incursion

The MAF Virtual Reality Incursion for Schools provides a fun and engaging opportunity for students to understand the work of missions and the variety of vocations that MAF Missionaries hold. During the incursion, each student will be given the opportunity to experience what it would be like to be medevacked from a remote village in Papua New Guinea.

This is one of our most popular programs that has been running since 2019.  This program has been run successfully in NSW, QLD, SA and VIC.  We are extending its reach in 2025 into NT and WA.  Students and teachers love bringing this experience to their school.  This program is offered at no cost to the school.

During a visit by MAF to ACC in Sydney, the students really enjoyed getting to know about the work of MAF, loving the virtual reality experience of being medevacked from a remote village in Papua New Guinea.
The MAF Lego Challenge! Build a plane, runway and radio tower! This fun and interactive activity helps students understand more about MAF’s work by sparking creativity and demonstrating the vital role of aviation in connecting isolated communities.
Staff from St Andrews Christian School High School joined in the MAF VR Incursion, exploring to understand the vital role aviation plays in bringing help, hope and healing to isolated communities.
