The Story
Rick was born and raised in Abbotsford, British Columbia. After 15 years of farming, Rick felt the call to pursue mission work overseas. As a qualified pilot, MAF was the perfect fit for him. Rick joined MAF in 2003 and was seconded to Flying Mission (FM) to serve in their Botswana program. In 2005, FM transferred Rick to Zambia.
Tracey grew up in New South Wales. God had planted the desire to serve as a missionary in her heart as a child, and after completing her Biblical studies at SMBC, she moved to Zambia to serve with SIM in 2003. Tracey served as an administrator, assisted with immigration issues, provided medical counsel, and much more.
Rick and Tracey met in 2005, and were married in 2007. They have been blessed with three children Matthew (2009), Joshua (2011), and Andrew (2012).
In 2016 the Rempels transitioned to Canada where Rick and Tracey now serve with MAF at Prairie Aviation Training Centre (PATC) in Three Hills, Alberta. Rick is instrumental in training future generations of pilots, and together they are mentoring students to be missional wherever they serve.
The Rempels are members of MAF Canada
Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
