The Story
Jeroen and Diana grew up in the Netherlands, and emigrated to Australia in They raised their family of four: Anne, Jozua, David and Naomi in Adelaide and Mount Gambier, gaining work and life experience in their new country, community and church.
Jeroen is a Chartered Accountant, with experience in audit and management roles and a focus on organisational, finance and system management and process improvement. Diana is a GP specialised in Obstetrics and Anaesthetics. Jeroen and Diana always had a heart for mission and are answering God’s call, serving in Enga, in the PNG highlands, since August 2021.
They live and work in Kompiam where Diana is working as a medical doctor: helping patients, training medical staff, and assisting with improving patient care at the Kompian Hospital. Jeroen works as General Manager Aviation; leading a team of dedicated managers, engineers, pilots, planners, and operational staff. His focus is ensuring safety and efficiency for
operations, to grow MAF’s mission to reach isolated people with hope, help, and healing in the name of Christ. For this, he regularly works from Mount Hagen.
