Help fuel Arnhem Land's Education Flights

Access to school is a challenge for the Yolngu people of Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory.

As children across Australia prepare to start a new school year, please help give First Nations students a strong start to the school year. Your gift will keep our planes in the air, ensuring children in Arnhem Land can access education in 2025 and beyond.

In Arnhem Land, the trip to school can take up to 12 hours by road through dense bushland. That’s where MAF steps in. Through our Education Flights, we bridge these gaps, giving students the chance to access the education they deserve. On a MAF flight, the trip to school can be just 30 minutes. 

Education flights are an essential operating service – without them – the distance to access school is just too great.

• $50 can help cover the cost of a student’s journey to school. 
• $100 can contribute to a round-trip flight for a teacher to teach in remote classrooms. 
• $500 can fund flights for multiple students, ensuring they can attend school regularly in Arnhem Land.
