Through breathtaking visuals and powerful testimonies, the film reveals how these aviators, alongside missionaries and local believers, overcome immense challenges to bring hope and transformation to isolated communities.

Ways to make your event great:
Plan and Promote
Set a date, book your venue, and invite your church or small group. Use our customisable resources found at the end of this page to promote and run your screening smoothly. Don’t forget to set up an RSVP to help with planning.
Create a Warm, Engaging Atmosphere
Add simple, welcoming touches—like popcorn, cosy lighting, or themed decorations—to make your event feel special. Before the movie, play the short intro video we’ve provided to set the scene, and use our postcards to connect your audience with MAF’s mission and encourage conversation.
Fundraise and
Support MAF
Make your event meaningful by setting up a Mission Spotlight fundraising campaign. Invite your community to give toward MAF’s mission to bring help, hope and healing to isolated communities.

You can rent equipment or partner with another church or venue that has what you need.
Can we charge an entry fee?
This is a free event, but we strongly encourage you to use it as an opportunity to fundraise in support of MAF’s work - it’s a great way to enhance the experience and make an even bigger impact. We’ve made it easy to get started: simply set up a fundraising page here and invite your guests to give generously!
Do you have a suggested event format?
Below is a suggested event runsheet but feel free to customise as needed:
- - Pre event: Serve refreshments, or sell them as part of your fundraising for MAF and invite people to enter the '80th Anniversary Grand Prize Draw'.
- Welcome your guests, let them know what will be happening tonight and why you are celebrating MAF
- Play the Intro Video provided by MAF to set the scene
- Straight into the screening of the 'Ends of the Earth' documentary
- Play the Outro Video provided by MAF
- Talk about your fundraising initiative for the work of MAF and invite donations
- Open up for discussion.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
