The Story

Imogen grew up in South-East QLD, in the inland city of Toowoomba, where she completed her high school education and apprenticeship in commercial cookery. She then stepped away from hospitality work to do some travelling and casual work.

Throughout childhood, Imogen had an awareness of MAF from her parents and church, but it wasn’t until 2023 that she felt the call to look into MAF personally.

She joined the MAF team in Arnhem Land in September 2023 in the Missions Experience Placement (MEP) role. She then continued working with MAF as a part of the flight operations team until June 2026, when an opportunity came up to join MAF in PNG working in Corporate Services.

Imogen enjoys meeting new people and embracing new experiences. Although sad to leave the Arnhem Land team, she feels blessed and excited to be working alongside MAF Tech’s dedicated national and international staff to further the MAF mission in providing help, hope and healing to remote communities.
