The Story

Having returned to the work of MAF after 6 years back in Australia, David and Lisa and their four children (Mark, Anna, Nathan and Tim) previously served with MAF in Kenya and Chad. With Lisa’s Australian citizenship now secured and an opportunity to change direction again before the kids move into senior high school, the Pearces’ look forward to being a part once more of the MAF family and supporting the frontline ministry!

Newly appointed as the International Manager of Flight Standards, David and the family will be based in Cairns, Qld. Looking to use his past experience of MAF flying in Arnhem Land, Africa and more recently with the RFDS in Australia’s outback, David will be aiding the program pilots to ensure standards are maintained across all programs. As a registered teacher Lisa will be looking to take on teaching work, in the area of special needs and student support. Together as a family they are seeking to enable the ministry of MAF to reach further and continue to bring help, hope and healing to those in need.
