Violence against women remains one of the most pervasive human rights violations worldwide. One in three women will experience physical or sexual violence in her lifetime, and in 2023, a woman was killed due to gender-based violence every 10 minutes. Source: UN and WHO.

In regions where conflict, harsh terrain or dangerous roads make travel nearly impossible, a MAF aircraft is often the only safe and rapid lifeline to reach protection, medical care and support.
