Chris Coffee Aviation Foundation

CARRY FORWARD THE LEGACY OF CHRIS COFFEE
Chris Coffee, a respected MAF pilot who was killed in a car accident while driving to work in Arnhem Land in January 2025, devoted his life to serving God, mentoring others and bringing hope to some of the world’s most isolated communities. The Chris Coffee Aviation Foundation honours his faith, heart for service and passion for training and mentoring people to flourish in their calling.
Through the Foundation, we equip aspiring and locally trained pilots and engineers from within the regions where MAF serves to become mission-ready pilots and engineers – providing scholarships, fellowships, mentorship and practical mission experience. Your gift will enable these men and women to grow in faith, develop their skills and step into vital aviation and leadership roles, strengthening MAF’s operations and ensuring life-saving help, hope and healing reach isolated communities around the world.

by partnering with the chris coffee aviation foundation, you are:
- Identifying emerging leaders with the passion, potential and calling to serve as pilots and engineers.
- Equipping them with the training, mentorship and mission experience they need to flourish in their calling.
- Empowering them to serve long-term within MAF, bringing lasting change to their families, communities and the people they serve.

Your support does more than train pilots and engineers – it continues Chris’s heart for discipleship, communication and mentoring, helping people encounter the love of Jesus while creating a ripple effect of transformation. Every gift invests in individuals who will go on to make a difference, connecting isolated communities with life-saving services and building a generation of mission-driven aviation professionals who will carry this vital work forward for decades.
Looking ahead, MAF is preparing to double its impact by our 100-year anniversary in 2045. Investing in local pilots and engineers through the Chris Coffee Aviation Foundation is central to that vision: by raising up skilled, mission-ready leaders representative of the communities MAF serves to become mission-ready pilots and engineers, we ensure that MAF’s operations are sustainable, culturally connected and poised to reach even more remote people with help, hope and healing.
Partner with us today to honour Chris Coffee’s legacy and help shape a future where local leaders, empowered by God’s love, transform lives, strengthen communities and sustain mission aviation for generations to come.
