Arnhem Land Program - Amber Mori

Sent from: MAF in Papua New Guinea
Serving in: Arnhem Land
The Story
Growing up in Papua New Guinea, Amber witnessed how aviation was more than just transportation – it was a lifeline for those in isolated areas. From a young age, Amber saw how missionary pilots and aircraft engineers played a crucial role in bringing medical aid, supplies, and the Gospel to communities that were otherwise unreachable. Their dedication left a deep imprint on Amber’s otherwise unreachable. Their dedication left a deep imprint on Amber’s heart, planting the seed of a calling she couldn’t ignore.
After training as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Amber spent six years with MAF in Papua New Guinea, using her skills to keep planes flying and bring vital support to people living in the country’s most remote communities. Recently, God’s calling has led Amber to Arnhem Land, Australia, where she will serve as an Aircraft Engineer with MAF International.
She cannot wait to see how God is going to work in her and through her as she begins this new adventure!

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord – Romans 8:38-39 (NIV)
