This Christmas, help fund solar panels for Wewak
Keep MAF sharing long-awaited light in PNG.
There is a reliable, eco-friendly solution available. Solar panels will provide dependable and sustainable power. And this in turn will allow MAF to continue to be a dependable and sustainable presence for the people we serve in Wewak.
Right now, the MAF team in Wewak faces an almost untenable power situation.

Unreliable power
Regular power outages result in flights being delayed or cancelled, because of system crashes meaning we can’t access flight plans and logistical information.
Operational Disruption
Unreliable power significantly disrupts essential coordination and communication – greatly affecting our capacity to provide life-saving aid in times of emergency.
Strain on the community
Interruption to power is putting enormous strain on our MAF families in Wewak. Online school is interrupted, food is wasted, electric pumps stop working and security is compromised.
Unsustainable ministry
The light MAF brings to Papua New Guinea - our largest program globally - has a profound spiritual and physical impact. We must remain a dependable service for the people there.
Help us to bring Wewak
dependable & sustainable power.
