Wesley finished high school in 2018 and decided to go and work in Gove, Arnhem Land as a hanger assistant with MAF for 12 months.
After a few months there, where he witnessed the serious lack of engineers on the floor, Wesley felt God’s calling to become an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
Now in the first year of his apprenticeship, Wesley is enjoying it very much. Being the third generation in his family to work with MAF, he has grown up on the mission field, living and being involved with indigenous ministry in many places around Australia.
Wesley is excited for this new chapter in his Christian walk and is very excited to be involved in helping MAF bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the Yolngu people of Arnhem Land.
Give thanks to the lord for he is good; his love endures forever.1 Chronicles 16:34
