* This donation is tax deductible
Why are some donations tax deductible and others not?
Gifts or sponsorship to support the relief work of MAF International (ABN 32 004 260 860) in Australia, made through the MAF Aid Fund (ABN 49 498 842 455), are tax deductible.
Not tax deductible
Tax deductibility on donations is only allowable by the Australian Tax Office in respect of approved relief and development activities. For this reason, tax deductibility is not available for sponsorship of staff working for ACMA (Australian Centre for Mission Aviation), CRMF, MAF Canada, MAF USA and MAF Australia (Sydney), nor for support of evangelistic outreach and other non-qualifying activities. Donations to CRMF are treated as 'non-development' and do not qualify for tax deductibility.
From Plumber to Pilot…
Originally from Northern Ireland Jason and Allison moved to Australia in 2003. Jason was a Plumber and Gas fitter and Allison worked in administration.
In 2012 while running their own Plumbing business and living in Tamborine, SE QLD everything changed during a 4wd trip to Cape York. A short prayer before leaving for the trip of a lifetime was that God would take our lives and use them for His Kingdom. From then God strategically placed people in our paths and started moving in our hearts for long term mission through Aviation. We believe that prayer of surrender was the key to God starting to unveil His plan for our lives.
Aviation was never something that we choose for long term mission but it was something God choose for us. He asked and we accepted the challenge of entering a journey into the unknown of Aviation and mission with a God who has a sure plan for our lives. We want to offer our lives as a living sacrifice which is our reasonable service.
You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the father in My name He may give you.John 15:16
