Short-term Chief Engineer, Arnhem Land
Reaching isolated people is only achievable thanks to our engineering team.
Our aircraft land in some pretty tough conditions and environments therefore our team of engineers are essential to keep our planes flying.
From time to time short term opportunities become available serving in one of our programmes. These can be from 6 – 12 months and are usually salaried. We look for people who have a real heart for our ministry in reaching some of the most isolated people across the world.
We now need a Short Term Chief Engineer to join our Arnhem Land team for a 12 month contract. You will ensure that maintenance activities are performed in accordance with organisational and regulatory procedures, and that engineering staff are trained and prepared to meet local programme engineering needs. The Chief Engineer is a key member of the programme leadership team and with that the role carries the requirement to stay focused on our vision and inspire our staff

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• Broad coverage of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licences relevant to the engineering activity.
• At least five years aircraft maintenance experience.
• At least two years supervisory aircraft engineering experience with a proven ability to lead others with spiritual maturity, vision and example.
• Computer Literacy and ideally experienced and competent in using a Maintenance Software Programme.
