International Recruitment Manager

MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship) is a dynamic Christian aviation charity, operating 130 light aircraft in around 25 developing countries. Soaring over deserts, jungles and mountains, we bring help, hope and healing to people living in some of the worlds most isolated communities.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to come and join our team as an International Recruitment Manager. This position has a global remit and is a critical role for the organisation as the post-holder is responsible for ensuring current and future staffing needs are met and that candidates are successfully on-boarded. You will be expected to develop and deliver a comprehensive global talent acquisition strategy which addresses the needs of the organisation, building on new and innovative ideas. You will need to provide accurate workforce forecasting and develop plans to meet those needs.

You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining new entry pathways, ensuring that recruitment and on boarding policies, processes and practices remain legally compliant and best practice is adopted. We are looking for someone who can develop new attraction methods which can reach a wider, more diverse audience.

Responsibilities:
This is a demanding, fast paced role working across international and cultural boundaries, requiring someone who is comfortable working both strategically and operationally. We need someone who can lead the global recruitment team and manage the needs of many stakeholders from different countries. You will have a proven track record within HR or recruitment management, have good team management expertise, ideally leading remote teams and come with excellent relationship building skills. You must also be comfortable managing a high workload and conflicting priorities.

Stakeholder management is key to this role and you will need to establish and maintain good relationships with senior managers, MAF national entities (who support recruitment activity) and HR colleagues.

Reporting to the HR Director you will be a key member of the senior HR team and will be required to support the wider HR team in leading projects, as required.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Essential:
Degree qualified or equivalent experience ideally within a Human Resources related field
Good verbal and abstract reasoning skills
Excellent spoken and written English
At least two years management experience within recruitment or Human Resources
Proven experience in leading and developing a virtual team
Able to negotiate persuasively and effectively
Ability to communicate across geographical and cultural boundaries
Computer literate
Is willing and able to travel internationally to MAF locations
Is willing and able to be accessible during non work hours
Experience of writing and implementing project proposals and strategic plans
Proven track record of stakeholder and relationship management with experience consulting and influencing
Provided spiritual leadership through bible reflections and prayer.

Desirable:
Licensed to conduct psychometric and personality testing
CIPD / AHRI qualified
Previous use of HRIS and Applicant Tracking Software
Previous mission experience
Has lived or worked in a developing country

**There will be a requirement to travel internationally**

Location: Ashford (UK) preferred / Cairns (Aus) considered
