Could you co-ordinate flight and ground operations in some of the world’s toughest environments?
Our aircraft operate in some of the most unpredictable environments in the world. Weather conditions can be extreme (from torrential rain storms to extreme dry heat). Therefore it is important to stay abreast of changing circumstances in flight operations. We are only able to achieve our mission thanks to the phenomenal efforts of our international and national staff. Would you like to be part of that exceptional team who manages and exercises oversight of the operations/ground operations teams?
You will need to be a strong role model for the operations team members, providing encouragement, motivation and development plans and acting on behalf of the manager during leave, etc. As a member of the management team you will also have a key role in the overall management in relation to training, monitoring of staff attendance, absence and leave and ensuring high level of standards are met at all times.
You will also provide an effective flight service so that every flight is monitored and appropriate emergency action is taken if required, ensuring MAF regulatory requirements are met in order to generate, retain and communicate with partners. Oversee an effective system of flight reservations scheduling, invoicing and ensuring timely communication with partners.
The job holder will have completed a recognised operations and flight dispatch course, have aviation experience including a valid and recognised pilot licence together with previous management experience.

• Completion of recognised operations and flight despatch course
• Pilots licence
• Previous cross cultural management experience
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
