Continuing Airworthiness Officer – Planning and Tehnical Records, Cairns

We have a great opportunity for a Continuing Airworthiness Officer (Planning and Technical Records) to join our journey and be part of the Maintenance Control Hub situated in Cairns. You will plan for modifications, repairs and maintenance as well as keep the aircraft records complete and upto date for all Australian registered MAF aircraft operating in Arnhem Land, Timor and from the Mareeba training base. You will report directly to the Head of Aircraft Airworthiness and Maintenance Control (HAAMC) and the Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM).

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Essential:

You will need to have any one of the 4 qualifications below :
– Hold, or have held, an aircraft engineer licence in category B1, B2 or C;
– Hold, or have held, a licence that is equivalent to a licence in category B1, B2 or C;
– Diploma level qualification in aviation maintenance management as a minimum
– Diploma level qualification in engineering as a minimum in any of the following disciplines: aeronautical, avionics, mechanical, electrical, electronics
Aptitude in verbal, numerical, abstract and mechanical reasoning
Awareness of Health and Safety principles
2 years experience in an aviation profession
Awareness of human factors in aviation maintenance

Desirable:

ICAO Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License or National Aviation Maintenance Licenses
Familiarity with maintenance schedules of MAF aircraft types
3 years experience in continuing airworthiness management of aircraft
Experience in tracking and scheduling maintenance tasks
