MAF is a not-for profit organisation using aviation and technology to bring help and hope to some of the world’s most isolated communities. MAF Australia seeks a mature and experienced coordinator assist our growing Partnership team to increase Australian churches’ engagement with MAF through effective relationship building and communication.
This vital role will see you:
• Develop and expand our network of church partnerships
• Build, coach and manage our team of volunteer “church champions”
• Promote awareness of the MAF brand among Australian churches
• Work closely with our Relationship Manager and Advocate Coordinator on innovative partnership development initiatives, including our award-winning Fathers’ Day Campaign
Our ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with good relationship building and organisational skills. The ability to manage projects efficiently and to communicate easily and effectively with a wide variety of churches, church leaders, staff and volunteers are essential to this role. Previous work experience in a church or parachurch context will be highly regarded.
The role will be based in the MAF Australia office in north-west Sydney and will require travel in the Sydney metro area, and occasionally to regional NSW. This is a 6 months full time contract.
