Papua New Guinea (PNG) is known to be one of the most culturally diverse and rural countries in the world. Only 18 per cent of people live in urban centres and the rest live in very remote areas with limited access to transport due to the tough terrain.
We are seeking an experienced, detail-orientated Avionics Engineer to join our growing PNG team. You will play a key role in maintaining, inspecting and repairing the aircraft avionics systems. You will ensure that maintenance activities are performed in accordance with organisational and regulatory procedures.
As an Avionics Engineer you will be performing all avionics inspection work in compliance with MAF, CASA and international aviation maintenance standards.
All documentation done must be current and completed with the need to report any problems to the chief engineer.
As part of the role, you will seek to improve the quality and safety aspect in the engineering department and contribute positively to the safety culture within MAF.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
CASA CASR part 66 B2 license
Four (4) years avionics component maintenance related experience in Turbine or reciprocating engine
Good communications skills (English)
Good avionics troubleshooting skills
