MAF transports patients, relief workers, produce and medical supplies to the world’s remotest regions and places of deepest human need – places where flying is not a luxury but a lifeline.
We have an opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in the Africa region to support the financial and legal functions in some of our programmes.

You will need to oversee the work of local accounts departments and when necessary provide cover for other finance managers, this will include supervising the finance staff in their duties, providing training, development, mentoring and overseeing the payments of wages and benefits to the national staff.
You will need to manage the financial risk by implementing and maintaining accounting systems and internal controls that comply with MAFI finance manuals, carrying out internal audits from time to time and developing and improving systems and controls.
